Do you want to take the risk of not participating in a trade fair?

We have talked a lot about the benefits of participating in a trade show, but have you ever considered the risks of not participating?

A multitude of users of our product or service come to a fair of our sector willing to buy, and obviously they will do business with some of the exhibitors who are there.

If we do not participate, or fail to participate in a trade fair, we leave our company out of the playing field, leaving the way open for our competitors to gain visibility, relevance and sales. We are giving away work to our competitors and we are causing our company to lose it. Are we really going to do that?
